Towson MS 5k Walk This Sunday!

The MS 5k walk in Towson this Sunday, April 14, will be held at Goucher College at 8:30 AM.  Although we will use simplex for the event (147.600) we’ll be monitoring the BRATS repeater (147.030+) beforehand to coordinate.

Please come out and support the BRATS and the MS Society!

Operating Course

Rol Anders, K3RA, will be offering an “Operating Course” using the new ARRL Operating Manual as a guide, with expert presentations as well, on Tuesdays from 6:30-9:30 PM at the Museum of Electronics starting on April 16.

Special Guest – March 11, 2013 Meeting!

Mr. Bruninga, the author of APRS, is a senior research engineer at the United States Naval Academy.

BARC Hamfest, April 6

The Baltimore Amateur Radio Club hamfest will be April 6, 2013, at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, with setup on April 5.  Anyone wishing to volunteer for a 2 hour shift will get free admission.  For details or to sign up, visit the BARC Facebook page.

Skywarn!
