The BRATS have arranged a tour of the NS Savannah, a decommissioned nuclear-powered freighter permanently berthed in Baltimore, on April 28, 2012. Part freighter, part luxury liner, the Savannah represents a unique period in America’s history. Hams in particular may find her 1960s radio room fascinating.
